IN THE BEGINNING. Gen. 1:1

The word of God which we are representing opens with the word – In the Beginning – God created. Our emphasis here is that God is real, who is the creator of heavens and the earth, who has no beginning, neither has HE and end but created the world and things in it with HIS WORD” and continues to lead and to direct the entire universe with His word. He is the origin of whatever that exists in heaven and on earth. The world did not come from somewhere or early existed somewhere but all came from God – In the beginning. The student shall be taught how the world began and how things were created.

MAN AND GARDEN

Man was not existing anywhere before God re-created him nor was man from any existing animal, bird or fish, but God moulded man from the dust of the earth and put breath of life in man and made man in His holy image and likeness inorder to rule, control, direct the affairs and govern the earth which God created. God placed man in a beautiful garden called the Garden of Eden which was the earliest abode of man. The name of the man was Adam while his wife was called Eve, the mother of all men, the deceived woman. The students shall be educated on how man was created and where he was.

GOD, MAN, GARDEN AND THE SERPENT.

After God created man in His image and with divine authority, he placed them in the garden called Eden while Adam and his wife lived till when the devil in the nature of serpent (snake) came and deceived the woman who ate the forbidden fruit which God warned then never to eat, she ate and also give to her husband Adam under which both disobeyed God and were driven out of the beautiful garden of Eden, who covered their shame with leaves but God slain a lamb not from the flock of Adam and covered their sins and not their shame, but with blood of the lamb that was slain before the foundation of the earth (Jesus) whose blood also atoned for Adams sins. The sin came into the world through Adam and was destroyed by Jesus at the cross. The students shall be taught on how sin came into the world and how Adam’s sin was atoned.

NOAH, UNIVERSALITY OF SIN AND THE FLOOD.

God has always been against sin and always be offended at sin. When the world population grew after Adam, men began to live contrary to the word and order of God and that provoked the almighty God who decided to destroy the entire world with a universal flood but only spared the righteous family of Noah. Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to that entire despised God. As a result of the flood, all breathing beings and animals died, but Noah and his family members were saved through the ark of salvation. The present world population are the children of Noah.

ABRAHAM AND THE NEW GENERATION OF GOD’S PEOPLE.

After many years as the world again began to live in sin and in disobedience to the world of God, then God planned to seek for a man through whom He will form the generation of righteousness that shall worship God and that man was called Abraham. He was the father of Isaac, the father of Jacob (Israel), the father of twelve sons of Jacob, who later became the twelve tribes of Israel, from where Judah was one of the tribes through which the savior of the world, Jesus was born.
The generation of the righteous is the people of God through Jesus Christ and they are called Christians. The students of EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary shall be educated on how sin came into the world and the God’s plan of salvation through Jesus Christ. The very lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world and the lion of tribe of Judah.

THE EFFICACY OF BLOOD

Since the world began, God has made blood to be very sacred, powerful and sustainable, beginning from the blood of Abel, the second son of Adam. God warned that blood should not be eaten, nor should anyone shed blood because the blood is the life of all breathing beings. Blood of animals were the object of sacrifice to God beginning from the time of Adam in garden to the time of Abel in the field to the time of Noah after the flood to the time of Abraham to the time of Israel in Egypt to the time of the Hebrews in their promised land. These sacrifices were incomplete till God gave His only begotten son as a lamb who was slain at Calvary whose efficacious blood washed away the sins of the entire world. The Blood of Jesus is the last atonement for sin and the final one till date.

JESUS IN EVERY BOOK OF THE BIBLE AND AUTHOR OF THE ENTIRE BIBLE.

From the 66 books of the Bible, Genesis to Revelation, the pictures, images, symbols, types, persons, resemblances and the prophecies of Jesus occupied the entire Bible and also became the purpose of the existence and revelation of each of the books of the Bible.
The entire Bible was written to reveal the son of God. Jesus is the word of God. The Bible also is the word of God, thus Jesus is the author of the entire Bible, the mediator between God and man. Jesus is the word of God in human form, while the Bible is the word of God inhuman literature. The purpose of the WORD of God in human literature is to reveal the word of God in human form (Jesus) and the purpose of the incarnation of the word of God in human form is to fulfill and to confirm the word of God in human literature, therefore Jesus as the author of the entire Bible is also seen in every book of the Bible. The students of EL University of Theology shall be educated on the origin of the Bible and the author thereof.

JESUS THE CREATOR

The argument on the deity of Jesus Christ exists and many theories about who Jesus is abound, raging from those who believe that he was Angel Michael, one of the Arch Angels, son of Joseph, a mere creature, an ordinary man and others who claim that he is the father, the son and the Holy Spirit. All these theories exist and are gaining currency, but the truth is unchangeable. God is trinity, that is three in one, meaning the father, the son and the Holy Spirit. The three are one God and not three gods. Though three when we consider them as persons, but one when we see them as spirit. It is not three gods but one God and one creator. In the position of Jesus as the word of God, He created everything on earth Gen. 1:1-30, Prov. 8:1-20, Jn. 1: 1-3.

The entire world was created with the word and by the word (Jesus Christ). Jesus is not creature, but the creator. The issue of Trinity is a great mystery of God that can hardly be explained by the carnal man. The students of EL-University of Theology shall be fully educated about the divinity of Jesus and His deity as the creator also.

THE HOLY SPIRIT THE CREATOR.

The Holy Spirit who also is called the Holy Ghost is the creator and not a creature. He is the third person of the Trinity from the father for the church. He is not breeze, not active force or non existing influence but a real person of the Godhead with total and comprehensive attributes of God. He is the creator and never created, sent by father to believers after the departure of Jesus on earth.
The Holy Spirit is often called the Holy Spirit of God because the Holy Spirit is God and the third person of Godhead. He speaks, works, walks, leads and teaches and does all that the father and the son can do on earth. He was very active on the day of creation.

THE RESSURECTION OF JESUS CHRIST

The greatest miracle since the world began is the resurrection of Jesus Christ which made the Christianity different from religions and which becomes the issues of hatred, persecution and oppression against Christians all over the world. Jesus was truly crucified, he truly died as a man with His blood rushed on the ground. He was truly buried and names of those that buried him were mentioned, and he was in the grave for two days and that He resurrected from the grave on the third day and was seen by many even those that crucified Him. This is where the faith and believers hanged.

GOD (JEHOVAH) THE GOD OF THE HEBREWS,

EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary students shall be taught on the difference and differences between other religious gods or goddesses and Elohim Jehovah the great God of the Hebrews, the very God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who sent His son to die for the world. Every religion has great trust and reliance on its deity and often bows and defends such deity. The Christian community all over the world worships, believes and bows to Elohim Jehovah the God of the Hebrews who is the creator and the initiator of all things visible and invisible, the eternal and holy God whom His children address as “Our father who is in heaven”. Every student must be taught to understand this truth.

RELIGIOUS FOUNDERS AND JESUS THE SON OF JEHOVAH.

There are many religions on earth and each religion has a strong founder to whom all obedience and honour of his adherents go. Every religious founder is respected and seen as being sent by a god or at times seen as a deity, teacher, prophet, priest or as a great leader. Each of these religious founders in one way or the other had helped and encouraged moral standards, good behaviours, prayers, love, submissions, almsgivings and other good things but still different from Jesus, the son of Jehovah the God of the Hebrews. Jesus is not an incarnation of any of them and none of them is an incarnation of Jesus the son of God.
The students of EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary, shall be helped to know these.

RELIGIOUS LITERATURES & SCRIPTURES AND THE HOLY BIBLE THE WORD OF GOD.

Even before Christianity, many religions have existed and reigned, while before Jesus the son of God came to this earth from heaven, there were many religious leaders, many philosophers, many prophets and many who claimed to be deities. Presently every religion whether modern or orthodox has its specific literature, scripture or creed and all these are not hidden, you can see some of them in Eltheco Scholastic Library and Christian Researching Centre in EL Theological College campus in Aba, still the differences between such religious creeds or such religious literatures and the Holy Bible of the Christian world are very clear, open and visible. The religious literatures and scriptures are not the same with the Bible, both in presentations, emphasis, doctrines, faith and in everything. The Holy Bible is the word of God in human literature, authored by God through human instrument who penned all down for the reading pleasure of the entire human race. The students shall be taught on the difference between the Holy Bible of the Christians and other religious scriptures.

Jesus is the son of God, son of man, Word of God, the Lamb of God, bread of life and the lion from the tribe of Judah, the second person of the trinity and the word that created the world. THE DEITY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, SPIRIT OF CHRIST AND THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH, DOVE OF GOD.

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the trinity. The Spirit of God, the Spirit of Christ and the very sanctifier of the believers. The true God that existed with the father and the son in heaven, the creator who is not an imaginary view but the God that created the heavens and the earth.

THE AUTHENTICITY OF THE BIBLE THE WORD OF GOD.

The Bible is an infallible word of God, written by the finger, inspiration, revelation and by the authority of the almighty God. The Bible as a book demands no addition and no subtraction but a complete and comprehensive parcel from God through the Holy men who were chosen by God as vessels of honour to put down what God says, what God wants and what God commands. A good news for bad people, life for dead men.

THE CANONITY OF THE NEW TESTAMENT, WORD OF GOD.

The New Testament is an authentic word of God from the mouth and thoughts of God, ordered by the Holy Spirit of God and confirmed by the Holy men of God and accepted by the church of Christ. The New Testament Bible opens with the coming of Jesus the son of God, the creator and continues with the life, words teachings and miracles of God (Jesus Christ) the second person of the Trinity.

THE HUMANITY OF JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS.

Jesus is a true God and also a true man. He came from heaven to save man. He came as a man that shall make it possible for Him to die for man. Every man born on earth is born to live. It is only Jesus the son of man that was born to die and to die for all. He died as a man that others may live as God.

THE TRINITY OF MAN, THE IMAGE OF GOD.

Man is Trinity as God is Trinity. Man is the makeup of the SPIRIT. The SOUL and THE BLOOD ( the spirit, the water and the blood 1Jn. 5:8) and these three things in man are one and constitute what we call man o man’s life today and man cannot exist where one of the three is absent or lacking.

THE TRINITY OF HEAVEN THE HOUSE OF GOD.

Heaven the house of God is also trinity. We have the first heaven, where the birds and other creatures fly and roam, the world under the sky. We also have the second heaven, the home of the sun, the moon and the son, seen by men but still invisible, irrespective of the scientific discoveries still remain mysteries. We have the third heaven which is a real place but never been seen, reached nor viewed by any man.
The very temple and abode of God which no man can see, nor has visited there since the world began. It is the most sacred place on earth and in heaven, the home of God.

BIBLE THE WORD OF GOD.

There are three (3) persons in Godhead.

God the father – Who sent His son Jesus.

JESUS CHRIST THE SON OF GOD.

Jesus Christ, the son of God is perfect man and also perfect God, who came into the world from heaven born of virgin, grew as man, accused by His enemies, was crucified on the cross at mountain Calvary, who truly died, buried but after three days was resurrected from the grave, seen of all, who after that ascended to heaven and sit at the right hand of the father. He died to save sinners from sins.

His blood is for the atonement of our sins.
His death was for the eternal life of those that believe.
Faith in His name is salvation to the believer.
He was used as the lamb for sacrifice of sin.
He is coming again to take His believers to heaven.

The Holy Spirit came from the father and was sent to continue the works of Jesus among the believers. The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He is a person. EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary has it as a strong emphasis to teach about SIN, the inbred sin and the practical sin and emphasizes the dangers of sins in human community and in the world at large and at the same time emphasizes how the sin came into the world and what Jesus came to do about our sins. Students are persuaded to believe this truth and to live by this truth. Sin shall take sinners to hell fire at last.

MAN THE IMAGE OF GOD.

Man is the true image of God created by God with authority and power to control the earth. The only creature that was created differently from how others were created, born in sin, lived in sin, bound by sin and enslaved by sin and needs a savior, a redeemer and a deliverer without whom man shall perish in hell fire, a place prepared for all rebellious and all that reject the word of God. That redeemer, savior and deliverer needed by man is no other person but Jesus the son of God who died on the cross to save and to redeem man from the bondage, curse, slavery and penalties of sin.
Man is soul, spirit and body (flesh) and has direct and easy connection to God, to Satan or to fellow man on earth.

Man is responsible for his actions, whether good or bad, therefore shall be judged by God according to his works on earth. EL-University of Theology and Biblical Seminary students should learn this and understand it properly.

ANGELS OF GOD.

Angels are created brings in heaven who serve as errand personnels to God, who are subject to God’s command and to God’s order. The Bible mentioned some angels as the Angel Michael, Gabriel, Uriel and others. Angels worship God and have visited the earth through God’s directives and through God’s special assignments to them. Angels are not the creators and not co-creators with God, rather were all cre4ated by God for specific divine duties or assignments. EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary students must learn this and properly understand it.

LUCIFER (SATAN)

Angel Lucifer was one of the Archangels (senior angels) created by God and specifically assigned to the band of praises and worship, who also was very beautiful and bestowed with authority which led to his pride, rebellion and violent usurpation of God’s authority. He was defeated with his group of other rebellious angels and were all cast away from heaven, other fell into the sea and became marine spirits, others into the bush and remain forest deities, others on the air and became powers of the wind, queen of heaven (air) while other entered different cultures and tribes, animals, trees and other creatures to deceive people as we see them today. It was after that season that the serpent (animal spirit) entered the garden and deceived Adam and Eve the best creature of God.

This is the story of Satan and his host of demons. EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary students must learn this and know it well. Satan and all his demonic world hate God and all the believers in Christ.

HEAVEN AND HELL FIRE

EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary shall teach her students about the three specific abode of human beings, namely the earth which is the literal abode of man in his flesh. Second one heaven which is the permanent and eternal abode of Jesus and all His followers, the third place is called hellfire which is the permanent and eternal abode of Lucifer the devil and all his followers. The world is our home of birth, heaven is the home of the righteous or godly people, while hellfire is the place of sinners where sufferings never end. This world is the place of eternal preparation of where man shall spend his eternity after this earthly life. Heaven is a real place and hellfire is also a real place and all our students of EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary students must understand it on this scriptural concept and share it to their churches on this scriptural foundation not parables and not exaggerative phrases nor examples of philosophical manipulation, but nothing but the truth of God explained by Jesus.

DEMONS.

The demons are the fallen angels commonly addressed and known as the evil spirits. They were the followers of Lucifer who rebelled against God in heaven. The Bible calls them evil spirits, devils, unclean spirits, foul spirits and others. The demons are the actors, motivators, promoters, inventors, enticers and the powers behind all occultations, idolatory, wizardry, magics, sorcery, fetishness and all forms of diabolic activities in our society today. EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary shall teach the students and help them to understand this truth and uphold it rigidly and firmly.

CHRISTIAN THEOLOGY

Christian Theology is a belief that holds God as the almighty God as the almighty God, holy God, righteous God who cannot die, never be sick, nor can he sleep. He is all powerful, ever present, knows everything, can never make a mistake and sees everywhere, hears every word created all things. He is everywhere, every time and hears every word at the same times and sees the deeds of all men at the same time. He lives in heaven, in man’s heart, in the air, in sea, in forest and everywhere at the same time and at the same season. He is the creator of everything but nobody created him, full of mercy and slow to anger. He can kill and can also make alive. He is a father and the father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In Old Testament times, He received the sacrifices of animals, lambs and sheep, but in the New Testament, HE KILLED HIS SON JESUS AS THE LAMB FOR SUCH SACRIFICE for the total atonement of our sins and made it open to all to believe and to accept HIS SON JESUS who was used as the sacrificial lamb for the sins of the entire world. As many as believe in this truth shall be saved, be forgiven or pardoned. Every student of EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary must hear this truth and believe it. Based on this Christ atonement, no other sacrifice is required on earth.

DIVINITY

Every student of EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary must study all about Divinity and understand it all through. In our study of divinity few things are involved which include proper understanding of the true God, the existence of other deities,, divinity in general perceptive, what makes a deity to be seen and known as a divinity. We acknowledge the existence god or goddess to be a divinity but our emphasis and our main concern here is the true God the only DIVINITY that controls the entire universe, the creator of heavens and the earth and everything in them. This is the very God known and called the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, who also is known as the Jehovah God of the Hebrews. He is the creator God that gave His only begotten son Jesus to die for the world, through whose name the sinner shall be saved.

There is no other creator in heaven, on earth nor under the earth but JEHOVAH alone who created the heavens and the earth, who made man in His own image, whose character is full of love and mercy.

ETERNITY

Eternity here refers to everlasting, endlessness or non stopping. Man is eternal being made up of three things which include the body (flesh), Soul (life) and Spirit (eternal being). What makes man what and whom he is today is not the flesh, not his life but his spirit that connects with God on steady basis. The physical death of man where his flesh and life end here on earth is not the true end of man because man’s spirit does not die but created to live forever, for eternity and without end. The spirit of man is the real man in man and the true man that exist.

Because man cannot die, God has prepared two places for man’s eternity which are Heaven and Hellfire. It must be the choice of man to go to heaven and live with Christ forever or to choose hellfire and to suffer with Satan the Lucifer forever. Man is eternal being and can never die even if the flesh is buried and died. Every student of EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary must hear this, know it, believe it, practice the best and defend the truth.

SALVATION

Salvation here means to be saved from sins and their consequences, to be delivered from the power of sin, to be loosed and redeemed from the bondage of sin. It is to be free from the deliberate act of sinning and to accept and to receive Jesus Christ as ones personal Lord and Saviour, to live and to abide by the divine principle as directed by Jesus Christ the son of God who died that sinners might be saved. Salvation is a free gift of God and from God through Jesus Christ. It is only obtained by faith through repentance, confession of one’s sins and believing in the atoning death of Jesus Christ. This fundamental truth must be known, believed, understood and be confessed by every student of EL-University of Theology and Biblical Seminary as our cardinal teaching and unavoidable emphasis in EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary. Salvation is free but not cheap, without price but not valueless, but an expression of God’s love through His son Jesus Christ.

SANCTIFICATION.

This is the basic doctrine of holiness which every student of EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary must study, understood and believed. Sanctification is the second work of grace after salvation as the first work of grace. While salvation from sins is for sinners (unbelievers). Sanctification of the heart is for the believers (the saved Christians). At salvation, Jesus forgives the sinner and saves him, but at sanctification, the Holy Spirit comes to the believer and purifies his heart, cleanses his mind and sanctifies his spirit and sets him aside for the proper usage of God, declaring the believer to be holy, full of the Holy Spirit and under which the fruits of the Holy Spirit shall be produced, while the physical evidences are holy living, righteous thoughts and ambitions, love of God, godliness and Christ like living and activities. While the salvation is to save the sinner from his wickedness and other practical sins, sanctification is to uproot the inbred sin and to deliver the believer from the carnal mind or carnality which is also called the Adamic nature or an old nature in Man.
All admitted students of EL-University of Theology and Biblical Seminary must study this, know it, believe the scriptures and live by the truth.

CHRISTIAN LIFE

Christian life is known as spiritual life or Christ-like life, the life of Christ and believers life which is exemplified in holy living, righteous living, fear of God, love of God, obedient to God, faith and faithfulness. It is the life of the saints and the body of Christ. This is the life of meekness, joy, patience, obedience, sincerity, holiness, prayerfulness, closeness to God and the life that represents Christ here on earth. It is Christ own life copied by His followers, the believers who abides in truth and in love of God.

EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary students must study this truth, believe it, abide by it, confess it, possess it and represent it daily in his life and in his daily activities.

THE CHURCH

The church is the body of Christ, the saved people of God united with Christ in God, the bleed washed people known as the peculiar people of God. The called out, the redeemed people of God and the believers in Christ who were purchased with the blood of the lamb (Jesus Christ). It is the assembly of God, the congregation of the saints, the holy assembly and the citizens of heaven, controlled by the spirit of God. It is spiritual kingdom on earth. Members of the Church are the only repented souls, born again believers, saved Christians, pardoned people of God whose sins are forgiven due to their repentance and faith in the finished works of Jesus at Calvary. Their lives are characterized with holiness, peace, love, unity, faith, faithfulness, meekness, truth and Christ like activities on earth. The church is pictured and revealed as a bride ready to wed her husband Jesus Christ.

CHRISTIAN MINISTRY

The Christian ministry referred in our theological institution is simply known as the business services or duties that the Christian believer is assigned to do or the one such Christian believer has choosen to do or what is also referred or known as the call of God under which a believer is called to become an apostle, a prophet, an evangelist, a pastor or a teacher for the building of the believers and for the equipment and growth of the church. God calls believers for different businesses and for different assignments for the growth of the kingdom. Some are called as church builders, project sponsors, intercessors problem solvers, while others are called and assigned to be deliverance ministers, healing ministers, charismatic ministers, orphanage runners, tracts distributors, mobile preachers, humanitarian ministries, rural preachers, widows and the poor helpers, soul winners and other ministries according to God’s calling.

There are four basic purposes and focuses of the Christian ministries which include:- (1) To win sinners for Christ. (2) To prepare men for eternity in heaven. (3) To train and equip Christian workers, gospel ministers and called men and women for world harvest, church growth and for the preparation of the members for the coming rapture.
(4) To establish, build and solidify the church, the body of Christ and the kingdom of God on earth.

CHRISTIAN MISSION

Christian mission is the total involvement of the Christians to the purpose of Jesus death at the cross of Calvary. It is the total engagement of people of God in the field of soul winning, church planting, cross cultural ministries, evangelism, church building gospel propagation, church growth activities, inter-tribal ministry, inter-cultural evangelism, inter-racial soul winning, international gospel outreach and the vision of churching the unchurched and the unchristainizing the unchristained people of the world. The theme of the Christian mission is “GO YE INTO THE WORLD”. EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary has Christian ministry and Christian mission as its priority and cardinal emphasis which every student must study, believe, love, accept and practice. The call of God to the gospel minister is a call to mission, this might be home mission or foreign mission, but it must be on mission. The missionary call is a “call to go” and every student of Eluntab is fully trained to understand this and to possess it and to fully obey it.

EDUCATION

EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary steadily and seriously emphasizes on the necessity of education, necessity of learning, need of proper training and the present pressure for studies. Both Christian education, social education, secular education and religious education are seriously important, urgently needed, unavoidably demanded and practically called for. It is obviously clear that knowledge and vision move together, while vision is the fore-runner of mission, there is therefore an urgent need of education in our pulpit for the growth, expansion, stability and for the survival of our church. Knowledge is one of the key fruits of education and the present day churches need anointed educated people of God, full of the Holy Spirit who shall carry the gospel to the popular and wealthy people of the world. This is the key reason EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary has education as one of its primary focus which every student shall understand, copy, emulate, follow-up and capture as well. Education is a necessity in the pulpit at this computer age.

RELIGIONS.

EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary emphasizes much on religious and strongly makes every student understand the root, foundation, faith, laws, convictions, emphasis and the total code of other world religions and to compare such religious ideas with Christianity. There are great differences between Christianity (GOSPEL) and other world religions. While we see Christianity as “THE GOSPEL” whose deity is called father God, full of love and compassion, we also see religions that worship their deities who are not fathers. Christian Bible says God is our father who is in heaven, and as many as received Jesus becomes the sons of Good the father. Thus, Christianity is the gospel and not religion but a RELATIONSHIP between father in heaven and his children on earth. In religion, man struggles with all strength, going to temples, mountains, hills, valleys, rivers and to religious site seeking their deity that is not a father, but in Christianity God left heaven, came into the world to seek the lost son inorder to live in his heart. In religion the supreme deity lives in a religious place, but in the gospel, God lives in man and leads man who has known whom He is.
In religions, animals and birds are sacrificed to appease their deities, but in Christianity Jesus (a man) was killed to appease the creator Jehovah.

LIFE AND DEATH.

EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary as the best Bible University in Nigeria has the issues of life and death as its cardinal emphasis and unavoidable emphasis and unforgettable teachings in the classroom. We emphasize steadily that life is a free gift from God, but death is an appointment to every man on earth. There are two kinds of death as there are two kinds of life, which are the spiritual death and the physical death, the spiritual life and the physical life also. The physical death of man is not the end of man but life continues after the grave. There shall be resurrection, judgment and eternal life after our physical death here on earth. The physical life of man exists in order to prepare man for his eternal life in heaven and failure on that shall lead man to eternal life in hellfire.

THE EARTH.

The earth is a temporal place of man, where the beasts, birds, plants and trees live and grow. It is the temporal abode of man but shall pass away at the end of all things. The Bible says it shall be melted with a fervent heat and gone out of site because this world shall one day come to an end which shall precede to judgment of God. Heaven and earth shall pass away, while the new heaven and new earth shall take over where Jesus shall reign with the saints forever. The banks, industries and big houses shall no longer be, as everything on earth shall be melted with fire.

ECCLESIOLOGY

Ecclesiology is to study or the study of the real meaning of the church and all its functions. We acknowledge our early treatment of the church in this emphasis or this cardinal teachings but ecclesiology here is treated as both spiritual and physical organization with both physical and spiritual governments. Every student must study, learn, understand and really be taught the issues of scriptural ecclesiology and possess the real idea of it.

Ecclesiology has to do with the most important issues of the church, as we unavoidably believe and emphasize that God owns the church, but men worship God in the church. The church is the body of Christ where the pious and penitent believers worship God. Ecclesiology here features seven important issues to God and to man:-

The government of the church (Theology)
Administration of the church (Decent and orderliness)
The leadership of the church (Multiplication and increase)
The discipleship of the church (Obedience and submission)
The fellowship of the church (Love and unity)
The worship of the church (Spiritual and Holiness)
The membership of the church (Salvation and righteousness).

We emphasize the following truth and help students to know and to understand all, inorder to represent Jesus everywhere, every time and in every occasion, thus this becomes important.

HERESIES, CULTS AND OCCULTS.

The need to understand heresies, cults and occults grows more nowadays and calling the church and all her members to be fully aware of who they are, what they do, How they operate and why the grow. The craftiness and compromise of these groups nowadays and their plans to mix with believers is too dangerous and badly affecting the spirit of evangelism in the church and among the believers. Every student must study this.

The heretic groups are those that have the Bible but deny the power of resurrection and the effects of Jesus atonement on the cross through their practices, while the occult group are those that add magics, rituals, fetish activities, blood sacrifices of animals or birds as parts of their petitions. The cult group is a gang up of evil men whose aims at times become violent and dangerous. Cult group also may be mild, religious but still dangerous to Christian faith and confession.

SPIRITS AND SPIRITUAL BEINGS.

We discuss greatly all about the spirits and spiritual beings that operate, act, speak, manifest and live. There are three spirit beings or three spiritual beings that are visible today, work in man, speak to man and can live in man. These spirits include:-

The spirit of God – (The Holy Spirit)
The spirit of man – (The real man in man)
The spirit of Satan – (The evil spirits)

Many people always hear from these spirits on daily bases and on regular bases. God speaks to man, demons speak to man and the spirit of man speaks to man on steady basis. The spirit of God speaks slowly, peacefully, scripturally and faithfully to man, the spirit of man speaks suggestively, doubtfully, naturally with deep reasoning and all probability, while the spirit of Satan (demons) speak forcefully, falsely, persuasively, fastly, decisively and craftily in order to lure the hearer to his dangerous trap. These three voices frequently come to man and it is very important for man to know and to understand when God is speaking, when self is speaking and when Satan is speaking. Thus EL-University of Theology and Biblical Seminary made it compulsory course foa all students to learn.

DIVINE REVELATIONS

Divine revelations are process and means through which God can appear to man, speak to man, rebuke man, correct man, instruct man, lead man and deal with man. God deals with man through divine revelations, Satan also deals with man through demonic revelations, thus more carefulness shall be observed to avoid taking in some unnecessary revelations from Satan because demons reveal on steady bases to people while careless, unspiritual and unguided and unguarded people accept all to their own detriments. Below are such areas through which God can speak to man, to families, to the church and to the society:-

Prophecies - Oral revelations
Dreams - Revelation while asleep
Trances - Revelation while in spirit
Theophany - God appearing in human form
Speaking in tongues - Revelation through languages
Visions - Revelation by seeing.
Word of knowledge - Revelation by utterances.

Eluntabs students must learn these and master them to the glory of God. Nevertheless, the greatest, most evidential and the clearest divine revelation is the Bible, the word of God which Satan cannot manipulate.

CHRISTIAN FAMILY, HOME AND MARRIAGE.

The Christian family, Christian home or Christian marriage are issues of great interest in the business of God, in the church, in gospel ministry and more importantly in EL-University of Theology and Biblical Seminary where marriage is seen, known, believed and confessed as a rigid divine project. Christian family, home and marriage constitute the issues of great emphasis and rigid cardinal teaching and emphasis in EL-University of Theology and Biblical Seminary which every student must study, hear, know, believe, accept and possess also. The first church is the home and when the gospel ministers home is in trouble, consciously or unconsciously his church must be in trouble because it must be unavoidably reflect directly to the church, that is the reason the students of EL-University of Theology and Biblical Seminary must study this. Marriage business is a union that ends at the grave, divorce and remarriage is not Biblical. It must be one man one woman, no remarriage, no adultery, no extra marital sex, no second wife, no marriage is the greatest and the strongest relationship on earth which is the union of one man and one woman, a relationship that is cleaving which made it to be permanent union of a husband and a wife, under which is known as a couple. Having more than one partner is not Biblical and divorcing and remarrying is not biblical, having partners elsewhere is demonic, but a relationship that is created to end at death only.
In Biblical and Christian marriage, polygamy is not allowed, polyandry is not approved, while bigamy is not of God. Christians should be disciplined, more careful and more righteous in all their earthly activities.

CALVARY, THE WORLD CARDINAL CENTRE FOR ATTRACTION AND FOR AFFLICTION.

Calvary is the centre of world attraction, the centre of world freedom, the centre of world salvation. Calvary is the cardinal issue of the world history and the cardinal place in world religion, a place where God gave HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON JESUS to die for the world. It is a place of anger, sufferings, pains, blood, death, sorrows and a place of unforgotten event on earth. It is the most important place in sacrifice, a place of divine forgiveness, a place of world joy, a place of grace, a place of reconciliation, a place of restoration, a place of last atonement, a place of cleansing, a place of highest wonder, a place of victory, a place of hope and a place of eternal glory. In Old Testament the ancient people used animal blood and that of birds for the atonement of their sins and to appease their angry god, which became a regular practice to them and among them, hence not qualified, not permanent, not authentic and not durable but expirable, there is therefore need to get the lamb whose blood is perfect, authentic, eternal, solid, permanent, durable and everlasting, and that perfect lamb with the perfect blood is JESUS THE SON OF GOD who was crucified at the cross of Calvary for the perfect atonement of the sins of the entire world. He died for the whole world, but those that believe this truth shall be saved, because Calvary is a place of divine anger and a place of divine forgiveness. Jesus was truly crucified at Calvary as a man, he truly died on the cross, was truly buried in the grave, who truly came out (resurrected) from the grave after three days and was seen by all, ate with his disciples, believed even by His crucifiers, walked in the streets, observed by men, performed more miracles and and later went to heaven at the observation and presence of His disciples, confirmed by angels immediately.

Our salvation, sanctification, power miracles, visions, blessings and faith are based on what happened at Calvary. The students of Eluntabs must hear this, know it, teach it and believe it because this is the base of our confession.

THE WORLD AND HUMAN SOCIETY

The entire world is our parish and the field of gospel ministry. Students of EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary must be very much aware of the world system while it is the cardinal duty of EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary to educate the students on issues of the world in order to make Christian missions easy and successful to the called men and women.
EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary students shall be taught on issues below:-

Current affairs and political situations in the land
Peoples culture, anthropology and religions of the people.
Issues of human society, social evils and dangers.
Social politics, languages and issues of commerce.
The level of Christianity and reigning sins in the land.

Ignorance of the world system must lead to failure in ministry. Thus it becomes very necessary to study about the issues of the world in connection with the gospel spreading.

KINGDOM AND KINGDOMS.

There are kingdoms and there is a kingdom also. Earthly kings, the unseen kingdoms of Satan, visible kingdoms of the world of darkness, demonic kingdoms among men. THE CHURCH , and the eternal KINGDOM OF GOD where Jesus reigns and rules. The church is God’s kingdom on earth, while there is eternal kingdom of God in heaven. Christians are not of the `demonic and worldly kingdoms that are not of God but wholly belong to the eternal kingdom of God where Jesus is the overseer, the king of kings, the almighty God and where the Christians are the royal seeds forever. Believers in Christ are the members of the eternal kingdom through their faith in Jesus Christ and their loyalty to the king of eternal kingdom whose name is JESUS, the king of kings.

CHRISTIANITY

Another name for Christianity is “THE GOSPEL” which means the good news. This is the faith of all believers in Christ and all those that believe, receive and totally accept the death, crucifixion , burial and resurrection of Jesus and atonement through the blood of Jesus the only begotten son of God. Christianity is the divine product of the resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ the only begotten son of God. It is living the life of Christ and confessing Christ everywhere. There are many things involved in Christianity as believers in Christ and as those that represent Jesus on earth which are here listed below.

Every Christian must believe in Jesus Christ.
Every Christian must receive Jesus as Lord and savior.
Every true believer in Christ must be born again.
It is Christ like-faith and discipleship fellowship.
It is a mandate of faith and faithfulness.
It is a mandate of love, compassion and sacrifice.
Christianity is the continuation of bearing the cross of Jesus.
It demands prayers, meditation and dedication to God.
Christianity demands reading, studying and believing the Bible.
Christianity is working for Christ and walking with Christ.
It is the life of repentance, hatred to sin and focus to heaven.
It is a race of self denial, sanctification and heavenly mindedness.

Christianity is not a religion but a relationship between father God and His children who are on earth. His name is Our father who is in heaven, while the believers are His children who are on earth. Christianity is being like Christ and doing like Christ to the glory of father who created heavens and earth.

ACADEMIC MATTERS

EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary has academic matters as a fundamental and cardinal issues and stick as imparting such to the students on a serious note. The students of Eluntabs (students) are made to study theology, Divinity, Anthropology, Ecclesiology, cosmology, sociology, psychology, philosophy, Ethnology and Religions. The students shall be taught on the issues of church leadership, social development, Church administration/management, church growth strategies, Psychological development and on philosophical researches. The Bible is the first text book forever. To make the students to be academic, is a mandate and students to be academic is a mandate and every student shall avail him or herself to be prepared and to be made to be really academic in the field of theology.

HEALTH MATTERS.

The Bible stipulates and truly unveils or teaches how to be healthy, strong and tireless. It is the duty of EL University of Theology and Biblical Seminary to use the Bible principles on health to educate the students daily in order to be fit, healthy, strong and to have steady resistance to diseases and sickness. The best therapy to resist sickness, demonic attacks, fatigues, weaknesses and stress are plainly exposed by God in the Bible and Believers without failure should take the godly examples and to follow the Biblical principles of good health, healing and deliverance. The students shall be thoroughly taught and be fully educated on the Bible principles of good health, strength, freedom and issues that can promote soundness to the gospel ministers and the church members at large. It is the will of God that both our bodies, souls and spirits be in good health and prosper always.

THE NATURE AND WORKS OF EVIL SPIRITS AND THE AUTHORITY OF THE BELIEVERS.

Demons (evil spirits) are spirit beings originally created as angels of God before their fall, man also is a spirit being originally created as the image of God before his fall. Demons since after their rebellion against the authority of God, became God’s enemies, man’s enemies and also enemies to what even that concerns God. As a result of this, demons targeted human communities, family, man’s health, man’s progress and man’s plans in order to destroy them. Demons can kill, destroy, Cause sickness, cause weakness, cause hardship, cause poverty, cause death, failures, troubles, crises, disagreements, disunity, divorce, barrenness, childlessness, church splitting, church fighting, church politics, hatred in the churches among members, sin and unfaithfulness in the church among Christians, enmity, quarrelling, lying and all forms of ungodliness in our society today. Demons can motivate cults, magics, occultations, idol worship, heresies, sorcery, wizardry, killing, kidnapping, stealing, fornication, adultery, false prophecies, false miracles, false teaching, false ministries and anti christism. Demons can possess men, cheat men, deceive men, oppose men, depress, oppress, initiate and manipulation, over taken, influence and live in men and can cause madness drunkenness and can make man become useless. In other hand the believers in Christ are bestowed and empowered with the divine authority through the name of JESUS to destroy the works of the demons in human communities.
Believers are to cast out demons, destroy the works of demons, bind the demons, cage the demons, stop demons activities loose the demons enslaved person, deliver the oppressed, heal the sick, release God’s fire upon demons, command demons to leave, show the demons where to go after loosing the oppressed and break demons stronghold, liberate the land, the family or the individuals, break curses and bind all forces of darkness through the name and the authority of Jesus.
